It's almost time for Curtains up on the New Year!
Try thinking of your upper lip as a theatre curtain raising --straight across, not curved to follow your teeth. Your upper lip will feel really wide, but the effect is to expose more of the underneath of your upper lip increasing resonance and flexibility. When your lip descends to play, feel how wide your tongue and lips are and be aware of he surface area of your tongue.
Take a deep breath as the curtain goes up, then play as the curtain descends:-) On with the show!
